Terry Southern!

I love him! The only thing that he hasn't done to make me incredibly happy is team up with Alejandro Jordorowsky to make the most weird movie that you'd probably have a hard time understanding. Know that there would be a lot of symbolism that will make you feel like you've learned something, but you don't really know what it was.
He wrote the books 'Candy' and 'The Magic Christian', which were both made into movies. He also wrote the screen play of 'The Magic Christian', as well as 'Easy Rider' and 'Barbarella', and co-wrote 'Dr. Strangelove' and 'The Loved One'.
He has been such an influence that he appeared in a cameo in 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' and 'The Rolling Stones' documentary 'Cocksucker Blues'. He is also on the cover of 'The Beatles' album 'Sgt. Pepper' (Ringo Starr was in 'Candy' and all The Beatles were in 'The Magic Christian').
As influential as he was I find that most people don't know who he was. This is his 15 minutes of fame in our current pop culture...on some shitty blog...
