I was just thinking of how Faust sold his soul to the devil for all the knowledge and power he could have. What if Faust used his power for good and repented? Do you think the devil would have been fucked over by his deal?

I read Marlowe's Dr. Faustus play for my English class about a month ago, and Faust is told to repent by several characters. However, his sins finally get so heavy (he has sex with a she-demon after all) that even if he tried to repent, he'd still get damned, which he does.
